ive painted with acrylic?

Why does it seem that every artist i ever talk to says they pretty much taught themselves?
Well thanks for the help, Ill probaby take some classes in college.

I didn't teach myself the basics, I learned most of what I use in a color theory course. I definitely have a 4 year degree from art school ;) it's the finesse you teach yourself and it's not really "teaching", just developing a style c:

You'll get there, just keep going

I loved school, got Summa Cum Laude from Savannah College of Art and Design. Definitely recommend it, but it's too pricey for most :c I had a scholarship to be able to go.

No clue on exact prices, fairly certain my schooling including living expense and stuff was worth about 400k plus at the end of 4 years.

wow!My dad said that i guess whatever school i went to would be around 100k.Out of curiosity what are you doing right now as a job?

I'm an office drone by day and a not-all-that-successful illustrator/fine artist in my free time.

If you want to be in art, you pretty much have to accept it'll take a number of years after your education before you can live off it :\
